Victories- What we won so far:
The slushie machine is ready to go and students will be able to buy slushies when they get back from break.
Snacks like cookies, granola bars, chips, and water are being offered in addition to Aramark school lunch.
We will get vending machines!
Our cafeteria is getting renovated! We are getting a new floor, new chairs and tables, and a new freezer. Thank you to Principal Vazquez, Ald Mell, and Rep. Andrade for your advocacy. Our lunch project provided the push CPS needed to get it done! These are pics we sent along with a letter to the Alderman. While she says she never received it, we are glad changes are being made.

What we still need to work on:
Improving Aramark quality, portions, and variety- our next meeting with CPS is January 8th. The citywide boycott is important for this reason. We hope they will commit to change!
Off campus lunch- The principal will need some more convincing
Delivery area in the cafeteria-This is a long shot that we have not brought up yet.
